Garment Rack

January 13, 2015 by Kristin Jackson 12 Comments

What do you do when you have three weeks to create a room & no closets… you run to tried & true ideas that you know will work (i.e. the headboard reinterpretation of our table) as well as this simple solution for a garment rack.  I am not the first, nor will I be the last to recreate a Garment Rack made of Steel Pipe, but the look & more importantly the function was exactly what the room required.… Read More

Live Edge Inspired Headboard Tutorial

January 12, 2015 by Kristin Jackson 20 Comments

If you have been a follower of mine for awhile, you will certainly recognize this technique.  If the look isn’t broke, why fix it, right?!  We used this technique three years ago to create our outdoor dining table.  It has held up wonderfully & we still love the look.  So when the time came to determine a headboard for the boy, this idea immediately came to mind.… Read More

It’s only been up for eight months now, so I figured I should probably share Chloe’s Barn Door…. Better late than never right?!  Well, here is the back story.  After moving our daughter into our old Dining Room, we obviously needed some doors for privacy.  Luckily, a few of the original doors were left in the attic.  Here is the tricky part….… Read More

Breakfast Nook with Domino & Laura Ashley

June 2, 2014 by Kristin Jackson 32 Comments

I have been shamelessly dropping hints about a “Secret Project”, well… this is it!  A few months back I was contacted by Domino Magazine to help with a project.  Could you just die?!  Domino emailed me. I may have shed a tear if I am being honest.  They said they loved the Hunted Interior & wanted to know if I would like to pair up to create a space to ReImagine Laura Ashley… Loving a challenge I immediately said “YES!” without even thinking of a space to ReImagine.

Make a Pendant | 101

February 12, 2014 by Kristin Jackson 11 Comments
One of my favorite projects to date (& probably our least expensive!) was our Brass Bowl Kitchen Pendant.  The beautiful thing about this project is that anyone can do this, with any bowl or vessel & a few readily available materials from your local hardware store.  As our Pendant is still one of my favorite things, I thought I would revisit it & break down the project a little further.… Read More

DIY(ish) Large Acrylic Wall Frame

February 5, 2014 by Kristin Jackson 45 Comments

Have you ever had one of those projects that you really want to do, but have no place to put them?!  Well, this custom acrylic wall frame has been one of those projects.

Aman & Carson
