DEAL OF THE WEEK / VELVET PILLOW COVERS FROM $9.99

Velvet pillows always add a luxe feel to any space.  The texture, depth and vast array of colors make them work in any design style.  I have them throughout my own home, all from a variety of sources.  Today I am excited to start a new series called the Deal of the Week.  Each week I will share an amazing deal on must have items.  Obviously this week I am talking about Velvet Pillow Covers… and the best part is that these start at only $9.99!!

These pillow covers all come from H&M Home.  I have ordered some myself and am really impressed with the quality.  Especially for the price!  My favorite part is that they come in a variety of sizes and they are only covers.  This way I can add my own inserts.  Often times affordable velvet pillows are pre-filled with a less than desirable stuffing that makes the pillows sit awkwardly.  The trick to a high end look is using a down (or down alternative insert) that is an inch or two larger than the cover.  So for instance fill an 18″ x 18″ pillow cover with a 20″ pillow insert.

There are tons of sources for velvet pillow covers, but I have chosen H&M Home to feature due to their color and size offerings.  But here are a few others I use frequently if you are searching for something they do not have.
