While not my favorite of holidays, my opinion is if you are going to give someone a Valentines present just make sure it isn’t drugstore chocolates! lol.  Instead, here are a few options that fit the profile but don’t come off as basic.  Be inspired by the colors, the shapes, the meaning not necessarily the theme.

Heart Art //  I love the graphic nature of this oxblood hued art print.  The hearts are exploding, but their abstract nature screams more chic than sweet.  Bonus, this piece is under $100 and comes framed.  Done.

Hourglass // A classic piece such as this is made fun with the colored sand.  Attach a sweet note like I think I am going to love you a long time and you have a gift that will have a memory always associated with it.

Velvet Panel Pillow //  Nothing says love to me like a good cuddle… and that requires a good pillow.  A sexy one makes it that much better!

Foraged Floral Book //  While real flowers have a certain lifespan, this gorgeous coffee table book will last much longer.

Flowers // If going for the real thing (which I really do have a soft spot for) ordering from a company like The Bouqs Co. makes it easier & prettier than ever.  You can pick your bouquet and your day of delivery and you are done.  And if you are really feeling the love, you can even gift a subscription of beautiful farm fresh flowers that will be delivered throughout the year.
