LOVING // TEAL VELVET
Happy Valentine’s Day!! Sparing you all from anymore hearts in tones of reds and pinks and rather sharing something that I am loving at the moment. Like obsession level love! I know that the color of the year is Ultra Violet, but I cannot get enough of a particular shade of Teal. The color isn’t quite teal, definitely not turquoise, but it is a beautiful blue green with a sophisticated gray undertone that has stolen my heart. Especially in velvet and on a sofa!! While I am all about a classic neutral when it comes to upholstery, this shade has me rethinking my go to’s and has me dreaming of a new sofa. I think that this color is sophisticated enough to stand the test of time and not become tiresome. It looks good in traditional decor, bohemian, neotrad… any style.

It is just dreamy…
These next two are a little more peacock, but still stunners.

If you find yourself a little too intimidated by thinking of an upholstered piece in this color, why not the walls? This is a shot of Jennifer Aniston’s home for Architectural digest & this moment (& color) is sheer perfection.
Here are a few finds in my new favorite hue.
I’m with you, I love teal couches especially in velvet! We have one but it is more of a tealish sea green color and it is my favorite thing in our living room!
LOVE LOVE LOVE this color. That bed is a stunner! I am looking for dining chairs and was leaning toward that exact style and jewel tones are my favorite – might have to have them!
These sofas are really beatiful but I would never have thought to call them Teal in color!
I’m open to other suggestions! That’s why I described the color a bit more in my post.
