TRENDS // MUDCLOTH

I am finishing up the final details over at our cousins’ dining room and am over the moon about how these DIY denim upholstered seats turned out. I will be sharing the tutorial very soon, but wanted to share with you all some similar decor pieces from Chairish if you are loving the look as much as I am. Between the rug below and the tones in the denim fabric, these were both inspired by traditional African Mudcloth.
Whether in a pillow, an upholstered ottoman or a framed piece of fabric, these Mudcloth accessories will instantly add a boho touch to any space.

And just look how similar accents fill these spaces with interest, pattern and texture.

Labeled #1 in a photo of accessories, is a blue and white throw with Xs on it. Could you please provide the name of that particular throw?
Also, in photo labeled My Domains, there is a red and blue oriental rug. Do you have more information on that rug?
Thank you, Kate
As this post is four years old, I am sure that the throw has been sold as it was a vintage one of a kind piece. Also, the rug in the final image was used merely as an inspiration showcasing the mud cloth in decor. I have no way of knowing any more information on that piece. I have had luck on Etsy searching MudCloth for the throws & also searching Vintage Rugs. I have purchased rugs from numerous vendors from Turkey via Etsy. Hope this helps some.
