I was so thrilled to share with you all the design process that went into my recent collaboration with Electrolux two weeks ago.  Now I finally get to share the final results from that design process and I am calling it a success!!  The entire set was built out to our specifications and photographed to perfection!
As you may remember, I was inspired by the Electrolux logo and their vibrant use of blue and white.  I reinterpreted that into the space by utilizing the bold hue on the cabinets.  It is an unexpected use of the color, but they really do make the space fun and inviting.  Using a bold paint color for the cabinetry can also be great inspiration for any of you looking to update your own Laundry Room.  Painting outdated cabinets a bright color instantly transforms the space, taking it to a whole new level.
As the cabinets themselves were the showstopper in this space, I decided to keep the wall covering subtle.  The detailing of this ivory and white paper adds a little interest into the space without feeling overwhelming.  It almost has a bit of a tiled feel which works perfectly for the backsplash.  I felt comfortable using a paper as the backsplash in this space as it would not see as much splashing as say a kitchen or bathroom may receive.  The white quartz countertops also help to keep the space feeling modern & fresh.  The solid glossy white surface adds plenty of space for folding laundry or pretreating a stubborn stain.
The white lacquered floating shelves again add a modern touch and the chrome brackets add just a little sparkle.  They pick up on the glossy countertops as well as the other chrome accents throughout the room.

Including artwork and a blue velvet bench into the room make the space a bit more inviting.  The bench is the perfect perch for any little helpers that like to tag along when you are doing the laundry.  I know my little lady likes to follow me wherever I go and would love curling up on this bench with a book while I was working in here.
The wood look tile is one of my absolute favorite elements in this space.  It has the warmth of wood, but the durability of a tile.  And laying it in this chevron pattern helps to draw the eye into the space even more.
While subtle, the mix of patterns with the bold blue cabinetry really help to create a bright welcoming space that help to showcase the Electrolux washer and dryer.
