Fourth of July Ideas

With the Fourth quickly approaching, here are a few last minute ideas that can quickly turn your usual celebration into a swanky soirée with not a lot of effort . 

// Use a star stencil cut out of a large poster board & sprinkle flour onto the lawn to create this patriotic motif.

// A lot of us already have string lights strung on the patio, the simple addition of red, white & blue ribbon instantly adds a festive touch.  I love using ribbon as it can always be used for another holiday in numerous ways…

// For a nostalgic treat, William Sonoma makes the Space Pop molds to make your own version of the Rocket Pop at home!  

//  My favorite summertime idea is using a pineapple for a vase.  You are already using the fruit, so why not save the exterior?!  

// If you are looking for a tasty dessert recipe, this is my famous Salted Caramel Banana Pudding.  I made a huge batch this past weekend for a family reunion & forgot how good it is!  Might have to make another one this week too!!

And thanks to our last road trip… we are stocked up & ready for our own fireworks display.
