Denim Coaster DIY

With the Fourth of July swiftly approaching, I thought that it would be fun to add some denim into my tablescape this year. This tutorial is pretty self explanatory… cut out a denim pocket & you are done! Whether you are using jeans that have seen better days, the kids have outgrown or even picked up a few pairs at your local thrift store, this project couldn’t be any easier & such a fun twist on Americana. I think it would look great to mix up different sizes & colors of pockets as well. Keep it casual & fun. But obviously I had to dress mine up with a fancy glass & I used some of the drink stirs I made earlier this year, to bring in a little sparkle.

I use denim all the time, just posted on my blog about a fun banner that I made and display in our home, as well as pillows, etc. Love me some denim! Love the coaster idea…~Kim
Great idea!
So cute. Must try.
I am not very into decorating for the 4th, but this I love. Couldn't be easier. Thanks for the inspiration!
What a great idea. I love coasters that soak up the moisture from a drink instead of leaving a puddle. Thanks for the idea.
So cute. That glass is adorable, and the picture is perfect.
Where did you get that amazing sheep?
