Zebra Rug Revisited

After the photo shoot, I decided to keep one of the rugs they brought in to brighten the space (I’ll share that later) so that left me with one DIY Zebra Rug that I had just completed & nowhere to put it!?! The only place I could think of to move it was Chloe’s room. Her previous area rug was made of carpet tiles in a low pile & a shag tile & I HATED them! They never came clean. No matter how many times the vacuum went over them. I blame the baby brain on the shag carpet purchase. “It’s so soft, the baby will love it!” I thought to myself… No!!! So, I was happy to get rid of those suckers.
After adding the Zebra Rug into Chloe’s room, I knew the stripes had to go from the traditional blackish/brown to the original inspiration completed by Caroline over at The Apron Blog… Gold!
This space brightened up immediately!
I added a rug pad (cut to size) to keep this wild thing in place. & have learned that between a few spills that it cleans up really well with a damp cloth.
Hope you guys had a great weekend!!! & for those of you who entered the giveaway… the results are in. The winner of the Flameless Candle Giveaway was Rachel Dowd! Congrats Rachel!! You have an email in your inbox from me.
