CRAYFISH & COCKTAILS

This week the hubs & I will celebrate our 3rd Wedding Anniversary. In honor of our destination wedding, we celebrated tonight the way that we did the night before we got hitched… That’s whatcha do here in the south. We had a Crayfish Boil & oh was it tasty!
Blue Crabs, Crayfish, Shrimp, Sausage, Potatoes & Corn all thrown into our giant pot with some Old Bay Seasoning. Mmmmmmm. Seriously messy, but seriously good.
While our dinner was Ah.Ma.Zing! I feel I must share my new favorite cocktail with all of you. I am a big Margarita fan. Always have been. But what happens when you mix a Margarita with a Corona? Why a CoronaRita that’s what!!!
C O R O N A R I T A I N G R E D I E N T S:
8 ounces tequila
4 ounces fresh lime juice
4 ounces agave nectar
1 Corona
Ice
In a pitcher, or a mason jar (that’s what I used) mix the tequila, lime juice, agave & ice until combined. Add in your Corona & serve. That is it! This will probably serve 4-6, depending on who is coming to the party.
This is our official summer adult beverage. If you want to make it ahead of time, simply prepare your margarita & store in the fridge. Right before you serve, add the Corona.
Cheers!
We love Corona-ritas. Ours are a bit different wtih 8oz. tequila, 20 oz. 7 Up, a can of frozen limeade and one bottle of Corona. Stir it up and serve over ice. They're delish!
We tried a similar version using sprite, but found all of that processed sugar mixed with the alcohol led to some nasty headaches! The simple mixture using Agave Nectar solved the headache problem… well unless you enjoy too many π
YUM, YUM, YUM, LOVE beer(corona) ritas!! Found this on A-Z
Welcome!
That looks so freaking good! Gonna have to try one ASAP. (Saw you on a-z)
Hope you tried one Erin!
