Chloe’s Room: Bringing Colors to Life

Room inspirations do not have to come from Design Magazines, Shows or Blogs for that matter. Creating a solid color palette from any image is a great way to start a room. This image is everything I want for my daughter’s new room. It’s bright, fun, girly but still chic. The colors that I have pulled from this beautiful bouquet will act as inspiration for fabric, bedding, accessories… All without being literal. Here are a few ways I plan on bringing this bouquet to life.
The canopy bed will be draped in this traditional pattern played up in these modern colors.

I’ve transformed our Black Global Views Flower Mirror with a coat (or two) of light turquoise paint.
Graphic pillows are always a must. These are from Jonathan Adler & might just be a new DIY project.
Can’t you just see them mixed with these monogrammed pillows I had done?
& (haha) of course the art I installed will help to bring together the bouquet inspired color palette!

Just remember the next time you take a photograph, buy an outfit, pin a killer pair of shoes on Pinterest, these could totally inspire my next room!
That will be beautiful! I can't wait to see it come to life!!
Love this! Do you have any pics of the completed room?
Thanks! I have multiple posts, but the quickest location would be the home tour.
The finished room turned out gorgeous! The canaopy on the bed is stunning and totally makes the room! It's cool to see your inspiration for the room after already seeing it completed.
