So the colors of the year (yes, there are two for 2016!) have been released and they are beautiful pastel hues that could potentially be difficult to bring into an interior without feeling like a nursery.  Which let’s face it is great for a nursery, but hard for any other space in the home. I believe the key to using either of these colors is to keep the other colors in the space more sophisticated.  As an example… One of my favorite color combinations right now is blush pink & olive green, so chic!  Also, both of these shades pair so well with rich stained woods.  Another trend I am gaga over.  After a few years of every piece of furniture being painted, the visual beauty of natural wood is really refreshing imho 🙂
Here are a few visuals of how this color can be incorporated into any home…

How are you feeling about these colors?!  Loving one over the other?!  I am contemplating Rose Quartz for my daughter’s ceiling!!!! Maybe in high gloss… Stay tuned to see I actually make that a reality this year or not.
