While Pantone says Marsala is the color of the year, I am feeling Indigo & saturated Mediterranean Blues a bit more. It is the perfect hue to add a pop of rich color while still being fun. It can be incredibly sophisticated & pairs so nicely with so many colors, Blue + Kelly Green, Blue + Orange, Blue + Pink, etcβ¦ they all work so well. It is also a nice alternative to black if you aren’t ready to go that dark. Are you feeling blue this season too?!

Love seeing our friend Sue's beautiful bathroom in your post! Winter blues can be good or bad depending on how you see them.

I'm always in the mood for blue! So many lovely rooms, especially that kitchen by the genius Sarah Richardson!

I'm certainly feeling blue, in the good way! My boyfriend and I are buying a house. I picked a midnight blue, he confirmed, for the bedroom. I get migraines so I wanted at least one room that was cave like, but I didn't want black or gray. Black and gray can be beautiful but blue is much happier and when your head feels like it is going to implode blue is much more comforting.
I'm totally feeling blue. I painted our master bedroom Hale Navy, and I love it. Even my Mom who doubted me ("Won't that be awfully dark?") thinks it looks great.
Excellent Blue Motif that's easy to add to any House Plans that you might consider for your new home or renovation needs…
Love love love the blue!!! So glad this is going to be so hot this year!
