Artist Spotlight: Teil Duncan
I am obsessed with all things art & design. So I literally get giddy once I find a new (to me) artist that produces pieces that speak to me. This past weekend I found one of those artists, Teil Duncan. And bonus, she’s a Southern Girl too. We have to stick together! Born & raised in GA, she now currently resides & creates her brushstroke magic in Charleston, SC.
She has just released a new series of gorgeous Beach Scenes all entitled “Memorial Day”, so I thought it fitting to share. These abstract summer scenes are only available until the end of July, so make sure you head on over & pick yours up.
I am also swooning over her figure studies. To die for gorgeous! I even shared one in yesterdays console styling post.
I can’t wait to continue following Teil & seeing what else she comes up with. (I might even have to add a few pieces to our collection!!)
Love Teil's art. I'm a proud owner of one of her beach pieces. It makes me happy everyday. I hadn't seen the figure series. So so good! Thanks lady. xo
Beautiful work! Love the colour palettes she uses and the looseness of her strokes. Really pretty. Those figure studies are amazing too.
The rhino I commissioned from her is one of my favorite things in our house. There's a backstory to him of course and I will forever hold on to this piece!
These are fantastic. I love the colors and angles. Great find!
I have seen her artwork before and am smitten
Whoa!! I am obsessed with your style. I came across your blog when trying to figure out how to hang a mirror with a flushmount hanger. So frustrating!! Did you simply drill a screw into the wall (in your case 2 screws) or is there a bracket and screw in the wall? Still not quite sure what hardware you used. Thnx for your reply.
She is absolutely amazing….her pieces are always so fun + gorgeous colors!! Love love love her work!
I'm SO sad I missed her show here in Charleston- I LOVE her art!
Love your blog and her work. A friend recently introduced me to her as well. Small world!
