For the new year I have jumped into a new trend with some very important furniture… Chloe’s play table.  Her previous table had gotten too small, so for Christmas Gigi got her an upgrade.  A basic white wooden table from Ikea.  Could I leave well enough alone… of course not.  I thought this would be the perfect place to try the Dipped Furniture technique.

I think that dipped furniture is a fun way to unify a mixed group of seating while also adding a modern touch. And this technique can literally be done on anything.  Accessories, draperies, cutlery… Here are a few examples of all things dipped.

This may be one of the easiest DIY projects I’ve done.  Literally, you measure the height you want your objects dipped, tape it off & paint.  I used a leftover can of gold spray paint.  The whole project was done, dry & ready for play within 30 minutes.
So what do you have lying around the house that could be dipped?
